List of ingredients
- 4 day-old croissants
- 3 apples
- 40 g sugar
- 20 g butter
- 1 lemon
- 2 eggs
- 50 g sugar
- 15 cl milk
- Lemon zest
- Cinnamon
Preparation steps
- Peel the apples, remove the core, then dice
- Melt the butter, add the sugar and caramelise the apples,then deglaze with the lemon juice.
- Whisk the eggs with the sugar, milk and the zest of half a lemon in a bowl
- Cut the croissant into small pieces, then pour over the mixture to soak
- Pour the mixture into well-greased tins (individual)
- Bake for 10 minutes at 150°C then add the apples and bake for another 10 minutes
- Arrange on a plate and decorate with a little salted butter caramel for even more indulgence
